AJBC was officially launched in December 1980. The chairman of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) serve as the chairman of AJBC. The council consists of 28 members representing the business community of Japan.

Our mission is promoting mutual trade, investment and industrial cooperation between the business community of Japan and ASEAN.

AJBC has been focusing on upgrading industries and solving social issues mainly through dialogues and networking, new business creation and research activities.
